LAST UPDATE | 5 Apr 2024
UISCE ÉIREANN HAS advised customers to expect reduced water pressure in areas of north Dublin because a “major” water main has burst in Fingal.
The state water body said a number of customers “may experience slightly lower pressures than normal” but that repairs to the pipe might not be completed until next Tuesday due to the complexity of the works.
The areas where customers may experience lower pressure include:
Carpenterstown
Castleknock
Laurel Lodge
Coolmine
Lohunda
O Neills Corner
Cabra West
Ashtown
Navan Road
Pelletstown
Nephin Road
Blackhorse Avenue
“We will continue to provide an update on repairs as the works progress and thank customers for their patience,” a spokesperson said.
For updates on local water supply issues, customers are advised to visit the Water Supply Updates section of Uisce Éireann’s website.
