A MAN HAS been arrested after gardaí seized over €490,000 in suspected cocaine.

Gardaí said they stopped a van in the village of Hospital in Co Limerick last night as part of ongoing investigations targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs.

The driver, a male in his 20s, and the vehicle were taken to a garda station in Limerick city for a search under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
