Man arrested in Bobby Moffett murder inquiry

Detectives investigating the murder of leading Northern Ireland loyalist Bobby Moffett arrested a man this morning.

A MAN HAS been arrested in north Belfast this morning in connection with the killing of Bobby Moffett in May of last year.

The PSNI said today that detectives investigating the murder have taken a 55-year-old man in for questioning.

He is currently being held in the Antrim Serious Crime Suite.

Moffett, a leading loyalist in Northern Ireland, was shot on the Shankill Road on 28 May, 2010. The Ulster Volunteer Force was initially blamed for the murder.
