Man killed, pedestrian injured in separate road crashes

One man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Derry yesterday afternoon.

ONE MAN HAS DIED AND a pedestrian has been injured in two separate road crashes yesterday.

A man died following a single-vehicle crash at Limavady, Co Derry, yesterday afternoon.

Newstalk reports that three teenage passengers survived the crash with minor injuries.

Last night, a pedestrian was struck by a car in Dublin city and seriously injured. The incident occurred at around 9.45pm on the Clanbrassil Street and New South Street junction.

The man is in stable condition at St James’ Hospital. Gardaí are appealing to any witness to contact Kevin Street Garda Station.
