FORMER CELEBRITY PUBLICIST Max Clifford has died after suffering a heart attack in prison.
The 74-year-old was taken to hospital last week after collapsing in his cell, according to the BBC.
Clifford was serving an eight-year sentence at Littlehey Prison in Cambridgeshire for historic sex offences.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Justice said: “As with all deaths in custody, there will be an investigation by the independent Prisons and Probation Ombudsman.
“Our condolences are with Mr Clifford’s family at this difficult time.”
