THE BODIES OF a man and woman were found this morning after a house fire in Co Meath.

A garda spokesperson said their bodies were recovered after a fire overnight at a house in Duleek. No one else was injured in the fire.

RTÉ reports that the deceased were both from the area and the fire was at their home.

The scene was preserved for a technical examination but early indications are that the circumstances of the blaze are not suspicious.
