SUSAN BANKS, WHO has made thousands of tea cosies of President Michael D Higgins, has completed her latest tea cosy of presidential candidate Catherine Connolly.

Susan and her daughter Rachel run a small business called Not Just Hats. Susan has made cosies for ordinary people and their pets, and even has a best-selling Michael Collins tea cosy.

She’s currently flat out with orders for her Higgins tea cosy as people “want a momento” of the President before he leaves office.
