#GRENFELL TOWER: At least twelve people died and almost 70 were taken to hospital after a massive fire ripped through a 24-storey London apartment block.

#STEVE SCALISE: A senior US congressman and four others were shot while practising for a charity baseball game in Alexandria, Virginia. Donald Trump says the shooter has since died.

#UK ELECTION: The leader of the Liberal Democrats in the UK Tim Farron has stepped down.

#POTRERO HILL: At least four people were killed and others were injured after a shooting at a UPS warehouse in San Francisco.
