A VIDEO OF a Swedish social experiment on domestic violence has gone viral.

The footage shows scenes of domestic abuse between two couples in a lift and only one person in 53 reacted. One of the co-ordinators told The Guardian they had expected half of the people would intervene and try to stop the violence.

We want to know: Would you intervene if you saw domestic violence like this in a public place?

Poll Results:

Yes (3263)
I'm not sure (2493)
No (1196)
