Quiz: How much do you know about Armagh?

The last week of July was a big week for the county, with All-Ireland and Olympic wins.

THE LAST WEEK of July was a huge sporting week for Armagh, with the county winning a second All-Ireland Senior Football Championship and Daniel Wiffen claiming Olympic gold in the 800m freestyle and bronze in the 1,500m.

Though there had been some controversy as to whether Wiffen was an Armagh or a Down man, his father said he’s “absolutely” from Armagh.

Wiffen also settled the debate and after claiming Olympic gold remarked: “What can we say? We’re All-Ireland champions and Olympic gold medallists. What a great county.
