Man (37) arrested after armed gardaí and Criminal Asset Bureau raid 24 premises

The homes and offices were raided as part of an investigation into an organised crime gang based in Cabra.

A 37-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested after 24 searches across Dublin and Wexford were carried out by the Criminal Asset Bureau and armed gardaí this morning.

The homes and offices were raided as part of an investigation into an organised crime gang based in Cabra.

The searches were carried out in Cabra, Finglas, Monkstown, Leixlip, Courtown and Gorey.

Gardaí seized a large amount of documents that they believed relate to the proceeds of crime. Cocaine thought to be worth €3,500 was also seized in a house in Finglas.

The man is being held at Finglas Garda station and the operation and searches are ongoing.
