1. #MENTAL HEALTH: A report into a number of apparent suicides between 2012 and 2014 has found proper assessments of patients could have alerted clinical staff to the risks faced.

2. #DUBLIN: A mother and her two children in Clondalkin were the subject of a late night attack in which ‘blacks out’ was graffitied on the front of their home, The Herald reports. They have since moved away from the area.

3. #BLANK CZECH: A Czech developer has brought a court case alleging that they were locked out of negotiating for a contract by a Nama-backed developer. It says they were in a position to deliver the best return for Irish taxpayers.

4. #THE CHURCH: A bishop is predicting the lay Catholics will step in to fill the void left by a fall in the number of people entering the priesthood. Brendan Leahy says that the time has come for regular mass-goers to be asked to take on a bigger role.

5. #ON THE RUN: Cutbacks to garda resources have been blamed for the large number of outstanding arrest warrants. There was 116,000 as of the end of last month.

6. #SEARCH: The body of a man has been recovered from the sea off the coast of Co Clare. The man was seen going into the water from the Cliffs of Moher on Monday evening

7. #WAGES: The chair of the low pay commission has warned an increase to the minimum wage could see a reduction in working hours for some people, according to The Irish Times.

8. #CONTRACTS: The Irish Independent reports that the Mater Hospital is investigating if any of its staff received gifts from suppliers for equipment contracts. It follows a Prime Time investigation into the topic, over which one member of staff at the Beacon Hospital resigned.

9. #WOOF: After a picture of two dogs hugging before they were due to be put down went viral yesterday, Mashable reports how the internet stepped in to save them.
