Clondalkin drugs haul: €270,000 of cocaine seized, man charged

Gardaí raided a house on St Marks Avenue, Clondalkin last night.

A MAN IN his 50s has been charged in relation to a drugs discovery worth over a quarter of a million euro. The seizure was made following a raid in west Dublin last night.

Gardaí from Ronanstown carried out a planned search of a house in St Mark’s Avenue, Clondalkin last night at around 9pm.

Cocaine with an estimated street value of up to €270,000 was discovered during the search.

Two men – aged 26 and 53 – were arrested, along with a 25-year-old woman.

The female and male in their 20s have since been released without charge.

The man in his 50s was released on bail and will appear before Blanchardstown Court at a future date.

A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecution.
