A 32-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested in connection with the murder of father-of-two Martin Purcell in Limerick.
The man is currently being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Henry Sreet Garda Station.
Mr Purcell’s body was found in his apartment on Wickham Street in Limerick on Friday morning. It’s thought the body may have lain in the flat for several days.
Yesterday gardaí said there was no evidence of a break in at the premises. They have said that Mr Purcell died as a result of several stab wounds.
