Poll: Would you like to see Michael D Higgins run for a second term as President?

SENATOR GERARD CRAUGHWELL says he will run for President next year to ensure that there is an election.

A presidential election is due to be held in October 2018. However if no-one contests the election, current president Michael D Higgins could be given a free run at a second term.

Higgins had repeatedly pledged to only serve one term during the 2011 campaign, but has since refused to rule out running. Do you think he should?
