4. #HEATWAVE: A Status Yellow high temperature warning is in effect for five counties amid another week of warm weather. Uisce Éireann meanwhile warned localised hose pipe bans are becoming “increasingly likely” due to the continuing high temperatures.
5. #RIP: Sam Neill, the New Zealand actor best known for his starring roles in the Jurassic Park film series, died aged 78.
