Man arrested in connection with bus fire during Belfast riots earlier this month
The 29-year-old is accused of committing numerous alleged offences on the evening of 9 June.
A 29-YEAR-OLD MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a rapid transit bus, known as a Glider, was set on fire in Belfast earlier this month.
The alleged offences, which include arson endangering life with intent and riot, took place during a period of deep unrest in Belfast after a knife attack on Stephen Ogilvie.
The man charged in connection with the attack is currently before the courts.
Mr Ogilvie was attacked on 8 June. Serious riots occurred over the next few nights in the city.
The man arrested today is accused of committing the alleged offences on the evening of 9 June in the McMaster Street area of Belfast.
He remains in police custody. Anyone with information or footage is asked the contact the PSNI.
