Man charged with murder of 3-year-old boy in Derry

The 23-year-old man is due in Derry Magistrates Court court this morning.

A MAN HAS been charged with murder over the killing of a young boy in Derry last September.

The 23-year-old man is due in Derry Magistrates Court court this morning over the killing of a three-year-old boy on Sunday 17 September 2017.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

A 24-year-old woman arrested on Monday in connection with the child’s death has been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
