Need some extra cash this Christmas? A few places are hiring.

IT’S RAPIDLY APPROACHING that time of year (dare we say it?)… Christmas.

Whether you are looking for a job or perhaps just want a bit of extra cash to see you through, there are a number of job opportunities up for grabs during the festive season.

Argos are hiring a load of new staff around the country. You can view all the vacancies available here.

Boots are another retailer that often get jam-packed during the Christmas season, and need more staff to deal with the rush. You can find out what jobs are up for grabs here.

Next is looking to hire some ‘Christmas support’ this year, offering various hours over a two week period. Vacancies can be viewed here.

Mobile phones are always a popular gift, so Carphone Warehouse are hiring more staff in the run up to Christmas. You can find out more here.

Dundrum Shopping Centre have Christmas jobs in Kurt Geiger, Jo Malone and Diesel. You can find out more here. Liffey Valley Shopping Centre are also hiring as is Kildare Village.

If you are looking to get a job that is full-on Christmas, why not apply to work in Santa’s Grotto in Sandyford. It’s looking to fill positions for elfs, Santa and Mrs Claus.

Fota Island are also looking for casual staff, asking candidates if the have the ‘elf factor?’ There are also vacancies for Christmas wrappers. So get applying.
