Gardaí find cash-box after robbery in Dublin

The raiders used an imitation firearm at the cash-in-transit robbery at Clare hall Shopping Centre yesterday morning.

GARDAí HAVE RECOVERED a cash-box containing a large quantity of money following a cash-in-transit robbery at Clare hall Shopping in Dublin yesterday.

The cash was recovered in the Moatview Area of Coolock yesterday evening with a Toyota Yaris believed to be involved in the robbery abandoned in the Tara Park area not far away earlier in the day.

The raid took place yesterday morning when a man approach the cash officials with what appeared to have been an imitation firearm before making off in the Toyota Yaris along with another man.
