The Daily PollELON MUSK’S SOCIAL media site X, formerly Twitter, has been making headlines this week because of its AI chatbot feature that alters images of people, including children, to remove their clothes at the request of users.
The production of child sexual abuse material and nonconsensual “nudified” images of adults has led to calls for X to be investigated and for government ministers and departments to get off the platform.
Media Minister Patrick O’Donovan said earlier this week that the blame for the abusive material fell on the site’s users, not the app. He has since deleted his own X account following significant public backlash.
