ALL DOGS ARE CUTE, but we need your help to choose which of our three August entries is the cutest!
In our August edition of Great Irish Bark Off sponsored by Allianz, we need our readers to help us pick between these three gorgeous creatures. The winner of this poll will receive a €30 voucher for Irish pet shop Pets.ie, in addition to the title of cutest dog in Ireland (for this month anyway).
Keep reading to find out more about this month’s cute pups – and remember to vote for a winner in the poll at the bottom of the article.
Saffi
Saffi is a Shih-Tzu terrier cross and a teeny tiny ball of fun.
She is the best behaved dog and has a lovely relationship with each family member. In the evenings, she is a cuddly companion and Saffi very much came at the right time for us all, a ball of fun and much needed cuddles.
She loves walks in her local park (Ballymount) and meeting her doggy friends. She loves her weekends on the sidelines, supporting the kiddos.
Milo
Milo from Sligo, is a lively and loveable seven-month-old Shih Tzu puppy.
In this photo he is on his way, with his owner Michael, to his favourite place in the world for a walk, Rosses Point Beach where he sniffs out the sand dunes, meets other dogs and gets the occasional pat on his little head from passersby.
For such a small fella, can he jump high! He steals socks off the radiator and even clothes off the line if you’re not looking and hides them behind the couch with the sticks he finds at the beach.
Aside from his cheeky little tricks, he loves company and cuddles. Ronan, the 10-year-old grandson of his owner, nicknamed him Milo the Pillo because his fur really is as soft and fluffy as a pillow.
Buster
Buster is a four- month old beagle. An energetic little fellow who loves to tear around the garden after anything you will throw for him.
He follows his owner everywhere walking side by side. He is a very funny dog and loves to do some little tricks by jumping up on couches he’s not supposed to be on.
He enjoys car rides, sleeping the whole way and his recent adventures include the beach. He loves to meet and make friends with all people and dogs who cross his path.
It might be the toughest choice you make today, but who has your vote for the Great Irish Bark Off dog of the month?
To take part in next month’s poll and be in with a chance to win a prize for you and your dog, submit three pictures of your doggo by emailing competitions@thejournal.ie with the subject line ‘Bark Off’. Be sure to include your dog’s name, age, photo and a description of their personality and hobbies.
