
A MAN HAS been arrested following the discovery of a cannabis growhouse in Grafton Hall on Aungier Street, Dubin 2.
The premises is directly across from the Dublin Institute of Technology in the city centre, and a shot walk from Kevin Street Garda Station.
Gardaí from the Kevin Street carried out a planned search of the premises last night at approximately 11.45pm.

A grow house was discovered and 101 cannabis plants with an estimated value of €80,000 ending analysis, were seized.
One man, aged 29, was arrested at scene and he is currently bein detained at Kevin Street Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
The gardaí said the search was as part of an on-going operation into the illegal sale and supply of controlled drugs in Dublin South Inner City.
“These operations use advanced analytical and intelligence methods to disrupt criminals and dismantle their networks. Drug seizures play a critical role in targeting the livelihood of criminals and reducing their ability to carry out illegal activities. Drug seizures also help protect communities from the devastating impact of drugs and the associated criminality,” said the gardaí.
