GARDAÍ AND THE HEALTH and Safety Authority are investigating after a man died in farming accident in Mayo.
Shortly before 10am this morning, gardaí were called to a farming accident at Clogher, Claremorris Co Mayo.
A man in his 50s was fatally injured in the incident.
It is understood that the man may have fallen under a trailer while collecting bales when the accident occurred.
The incident has been reported to the HSA, who are carrying out their own investigation.
The coroner has also been notified.
