Palace releases first official photographs of Princess Charlotte

The photographs were taken by Charlotte’s mother Kate.

KENSINGTON PALACE HAS released the first official photographs of Princess Charlotte.

The set of four photographs were taken by Charlotte’s mother Kate in mid-May and were made public late on Saturday night.

The photographs show the one-month-old princess with her older brother Prince George.

The pictures have already proved hugely popular, with more than 650,000 likes on the official British Monarchy Facebook page and 34,000 retweets on Twitter.

Princess Charlotte was born on 2 May and as the second child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge she is fourth in line to the British throne.
