1. #WEST DUBLIN: A man in his 30s has been charged with the alleged rape of a woman in a park in Blanchardstown, Dublin, earlier this week.

2. #DISCLOSURES TRIBUNAL: Justice Charleton has said it would be “absolutely futile” to go to the High Court to require journalists to answer questions where they claimed journalistic privilege.

3. ‘WARMONGERS NOT WELCOME’: Hillary Clinton was heckled  by a small number of protesters during a visit to Trinity College in Dublin today. 

4. HATE SPEECH: A new report has found that xenophobic populism and hate speech are “unrelentingly” on the rise in Europe.

5. WORLD CUP: They left it late but Brazil finally got their World Cup up-and-running thanks to two late goals against Costa Rica in St Petersburg.
