A FOOD FIRM has recalled a batch of sesame seeds they fear may contain moth larvae.
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) said Pallas Foods issued a food alert for the Salamander Gourmet Food Co Sesame Seeds;,product code: PU300; pack size; one kilogram.
The FSAI said the product originated in India.
The Indian larvae can infest a large number of foodstuffs including vegetables, cereals, rice, flours and spices.
