Met Eireann said it’ll become increasingly cloudy with outbreaks of rain.
While many places will remain dry, rain will be mainly over Connacht and the northern half of the country initially with southern and southeastern areas staying dry.

The rain will extend eastwards through the early part of the night.
Met Eireann also warns there’s a risk of thunderstorms with local surface flooding and poor visibility.
Temperatures aren’t too shabby today, reaching between 16 to 20 degrees.Summer beach weather – hurry up and get here.
