# Spring is Here
Look! Quick! It's not raining ANYWHERE in Ireland right now
Go outside. Go!

WELL, ISN’T THAT a sight for sore eyes.

It’s been a miserable March, with rain and snow taking turns to wreak havoc on our transport systems, roads and general wellbeing.

But the good people at Met Éireann have some better news for us today…Spring may have landed.

There are currently no weather warnings in operation and the noon rainfall radar is unusually green. Most places are experiencing “pleasant sunny spells” today with temperatures between four and eight degrees Celsius.

The outlook is positive too with cold but dry conditions predicted throughout the weekend. Then next week:

Mostly dry, bright and cold on Monday and Tuesday with just the risk of a little showery rain near the southwest coast at times. Breezy on Monday but lighter winds on Tuesday. Staying dry and cold in many places through Wednesday, Thursday and Friday also but easterly breezes will freshen and there is likely to be some scattered wintry showers at times in some eastern areas.

And looking further to the future:

Some indications of temperatures rising a bit by the end of next weekend, as winds back to the northwest, but the increasing chance of some rain developing through the west and north late in the weekend or early the following week.
