Man to appear in court after being charged in relation to serious assault in Kildare
The alleged assault happened in Naas at around 2.45am on Sunday.
A MAN IN his 20s has been charged in connection with an alleged assault in Kildare in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The alleged assault happened on North Main Street in Naas at around 2.45am on Sunday.
The injured party, who is in his 30s, was taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment, where he remains.
A man in his 20s was arrested yesterday by gardaí investigating the alleged assault and he has since been charged.
He is due to appear before Naas District Court later this morning.
A garda spokesperson said investigations are ongoing.
