Man due in court over €125k cannabis haul near Mulhuddart

The man, in his late 30s, was one of two arrested after Gardáí uncovered a cannabis growhouse in the Ballycoolin Industrial Estate.

A MAN IS due in court this morning over the discovery of a cannabis growing facility in west Dublin earlier this week.

The man, aged in his 30s, will appear before Blanchardstown District Court this morning.

The man was one of two people arrested when cannabis plants and leaf worth an estimated €125,000 were discovered at a growhouse in the Ballycoolin Industrial Estate, near Mulhuddart, on Wednesday afternoon.

Two vehicles believed to have been stolen from Navan last week were also recovered, as well as three further cars and a motorcycle.

A man in his 60s who was also arrested has been released without charge, though a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
