Man charged with murder of wife in Dundalk

Jacqueline McDonagh’s body was found at her home in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

A MAN HAS appeared at a special sitting of Dundalk District Court today in connection with the murder of his wife.

Michael McDonagh is accused of killing his wife Jacqueline McDonagh, 34, at their home in College Manor at Hoey’s Lane in the early hours of Wednesday morning, RTÉ reports.

Mother-of-three Jacqueline was attacked and beaten to death.

Michael McDonagh was arrested in the Dublin area on Thursday evening and brought to Dundalk Garda Station, where he was held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
