The fast-food chain says its account was ‘compromised’.

FAST FOOD GIANT McDonald’s has claimed its Twitter account was “compromised” after it tweeted criticism of Donald Trump and his “tiny hands”.

The tweet by the McDonald’s official account was sent to Trump’s and read:

You are actually a disgusting excuse of a President and we would love to have Barack Obama back, also you have tiny hands.

The tweet was sent and subsequently deleted this morning but not before being retweeted more than a thousand times.

Many others added their own take on what happened.
