THAT WAS FUN wasn’t it? The final debate of the Seanad referendum took place last night with Vincent Browne overseeing several testy exchanges between the Yes and No sides.
While Fine Gael’s Richard Bruton and Sinn Féin’s Mary Lou McDonald were unlikely allies on the Yes side Fianna Fáil’s Micheál Martin and Democracy Matters’ Michael McDowell, old Cabinet colleagues, were arguing for a No vote.
