4 stylish new developments now viewing that are handy for the M1

Family homes in north Dublin from €330,000.

ON THE HUNT for a beautiful new home? It can be tricky to stay in the know of the latest and best-value new developments popping up around Dublin. And for many, some areas nearer the city are out of reach for most bank accounts.

But once you move north up the coast to towns like Rush, Donabate and Balbriggan or further inland to towns like Ballyboughal, there’s a lot more value available for buyers. And often, the sea views are some of the best in all of Dublin Bay.

Here are our picks of some of the most exciting new developments right now north of the River Liffey. All are located within an hour’s drive of the city centre, close to the M1, qualify for the Help To Buy scheme and are finished to the highest standards.

1. Knightsgate, Rush

If living by the sea has always been your dream, it’s definitely worth checking out the thriving coastal town of Rush. Knightsgate is the newest development in the town, situated just off Junction 4 of the M1, a five-minute drive from Rush and Lusk train station and adjacent to the historic wooded grounds of Kenure Gate.

This development features 129 large, energy-efficient, 3- and 4-bedroom semi-detached family homes. Inside, the houses feature an open-plan kitchen and dining areas with French doors that open to the garden, shaker-style wardrobes and kitchens and an air-to-water heating system to maximise your comfort.

These beautiful homes start at €330,000.
