THE WIDELY POPULAR photo-sharing site Instagram has released its app for Android devices. The Android app includes the same filters as the iPhone app which was launched over a year ago, but there are a a few features missing.

Silconrepublic.com reports that the Android version of Instagram’s photo-sharing app has been downloaded 1 million times in less than 24 hours after it launched on the Google Play marketplace.
