POPE FRANCIS STOPPED by a shanty town on the outskirts of Rome for a surprise visit yesterday.
A video capturing the Pope strolling in to the town in the Tiburtina area, shows the local people give him a very warm reception. Many of them in utter shock at their town’s surprise visitor.
According to Time, he was greeted by a number of the town’s inhabitants, many of whom are from South America.
“How many of you here speak Spanish?” the Pope asked.
“Todos!” was the reply.
