JOHN CARNEY HAS a new film coming out later this month, the director’s latest ode to music in Dublin, but this time with an American twist.
Power Ballad stars US actors Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas.
The story follows Rick Power (Rudd) a washed-up wedding singer who has a chance encounter with former boy band member Danny Wilson (Jonas).
The Journal’s Mairead Maguire gave the film a glowing review today, calling it “a must-watch for dads and anyone who needs a reminder to wear their heart on their sleeve”.
