Fourth person arrested over fatal stabbing in Rialto released

The male teenager was released without charge this evening following his arrest in connection with the death of a German man on Saturday morning.

THE FOURTH PERSON to be arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a German man in Rialto at the weekend has been released without charge.

The male teenager has been released without charge and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

A German man in his 20s died after being stabbed at around 5.30am on Saturday morning outside Herberton Apartments on St Anthony’s Road in south Dublin.

A second person who was stabbed in the incident remains in hospital.

Three people who were previously arrested in connection with the stabbing – two teenagers and a woman in her 40s – were released without charge yesterday.
