Post mortems carried out on men who died in Roscommon fire

Three men’s bodies were found in a house in Roscommon town this morning.

POST MORTEM EXAMINATIONS on the bodies of three men who died in a house fire in Roscommon have been completed.

Gardaí say they are now awaiting the results of the toxicology reports before a file is forwarded to the coroner.

Three men, believed to be in their 20s or 30s, died in a house in the St Ciaran’s Park area of Roscommon Town overnight with emergency services called to the house at around 7.30am this morning.

The men’s bodies were found in the front room of the house with RTÉ reporting that at least one of the men was not from the area.
