CHRISTMAS DAY HAS been and gone, and the country’s chief day of indolence and stuffing ourselves silly is done with for another year.
From early this morning, across the country tills have been ringing as shoppers get stuck into the retail frenzy that is the St Stephen’s Day sales.
Undoubtedly there are bargains to be had as shops seek to offload stock they couldn’t sell in the lead up Christmas, but is it worth adding the stress of packed shops to what should be a well-earned holiday?
