A 16-YEAR-OLD boy has died four days after colliding with a car while cycling in Co Kildare.
The accident happened at Oughterard, outside Straffan, on Tuesday 3 July, at about 4.50pm.
The boy was taken to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin with head injuries, but died earlier today.
Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A 40-year-old female driver was unhurt as a result of the collision.
