Gardaí identify man who was discovered unconscious in Swords apartment complex

He later died of his injuries.

GARDAÍ HAVE IDENTIFIED the man who died after he was discovered in an underground car park in Swords earlier in the week.

The man, who is a 46-year-old Latvian national with an address in Swords, was discovered in the underground car park of Carnegie Court Apartments at around 5.50am. He was removed to Beaumont Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Preliminary results of a post-mortem examination conducted by Deputy State Pathologist Dr Michael Curtis have been forwarded to investigating gardaí.

Foul play is not suspected in the death and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
