Man in his 50s dies in two-lorry crash in Roscommon
The accident occurred on the N5 between Ballinagare and Tulsk at around 5am this morning.
A MAN in his 50s has died after a collision between two lorries in Co Roscommon.
The accident occurred at around 5am on the N5 between Ballinagare and Tulsk.
The deceased was the sole occupant of his lorry, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle, a man in his early 40s, was removed to Castlebar General Hospital.
His injuries are thought to be minor.
The road has been closed to facilitate a forensic examination and local traffic diversions are in place.
