Vodafone apologises after network goes down in many parts of country

In a statement this evening, Vodafone said normal service has resumed.

VODAFONE HAS APOLOGISED to its customers after a network outage affected a number of its customers this afternoon.

In a statement to TheJournal.ie, the company said that it had now resolved the issue that was causing the problems.

A spokesperson said: “Vodafone Ireland is aware of a network issue that affected some of our customers for a short period of time.

This issue has now been resolved and regular service is back in place. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

A number of customers took to Twitter to vent their frustration over the outage, which affected people around the country, and ask Vodafone when it would be fixed.

Earlier this month, customers with Vodafone’s broadband service reported outages at different locations across the country.
