A toddler has died in farm accident in Cork

The 18-month-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene

A YOUNG CHILD has died following a tractor accident in Cork this afternoon.

The toddler was pronounced dead at the scene, he’s believed to be aged 18 months.

It happened close to the boy’s home near the village of Killeagh in east Cork.

The death is being treated as a tragic accident.

The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) and the gardaí have begun an investigation.

This is the ninth farm death so far this year.

A father of five was killed yesterday morning after being crushed by shutters.
