Boy hospitalised after alleged assault on Newbridge's Main Street

The boy was brought to Naas General Hospital for treatment.

A BOY WAS brought to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries yesterday after an alleged assault at a commercial premises. 

It occurred on Newbridge’s Main Street, Co Kildare. Gardaí were alerted to the incident at approximately 3:30pm. 

The boy was brought to Naas General Hospital for treatment. 

Anyone who may have witnessed this incident has been asked to come forward, including pedestrians or road users. Anyone who may have camera footage has been asked to make this available to investigating gardaí.
