REVENUE OFFICERS HAVE seized approximately 25.8kg of herbal cannabis at Dublin Airport, with one man arrested.
The cannabis, with an estimated value of €515,000, was found vacuum-packed in the luggage of a passenger who had travelled from Toronto.
A man in his 20s was arrested by gardaí and is being detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Dublin garda station.
Revenue said the seizure forms part of ongoing operations targeting organised crime groups and the importation and supply of illegal drugs.
Investigations are ongoing.
