THE SEARCH IS on to find the owner of a winning Euromillions ticket worth €1 million in Co Galway.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold at Spar in the Ballybrit Technology Park in Parkmore yesterday.
The winning code is I-DWT-10900.
Store manager John Geraghty is more than a little happy with the news.
“When your phone rings late on a Friday night, you never know what to expect so this is fantastic news!” he said.
It’s out first lottery win and the staff in the store are absolutely buzzing.
“We are situated in the heart of a busy technology park and the majority of our lottery play comes from the local businesses, particularly with syndicates, so it would be great to see a big crowd of colleagues sharing the €1 million prize,” he added.
If you’re living in Galway, check that ticket now.
The larger EuroMillions jackpot meanwhile, worth €56 million, had no winner – it’ll roll over to a total of €65 million for Tuesday’s draw.
