Facebook launches its latest feature - Graph Search

The annoucement was made earlier today by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

AT AN ANNOUNCEMENT at 6pm Irish time, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg unveiled a new search feature for the social media tool – Graph Search.

Instead of providing a way to search the web, it will instead search Facebook’s database, enabling users to search out friends based on things such as hobby and/or location.

The privacy aware tool allows you to look up anything that has been shared with you on Facebook.

Likewise, other users will only be able to search you out based on what you have made available.

Those on Facebook can join the waiting list to help trial the new functionality, which is currently only available to a very limited number of English speaking audiences.
